Singapore authorities said 13 foreigners had been arrested, including three British citizens, who they suspect of being part of a drug syndicate.
The others arrested were seven Thai nationals and an American,
The arrests come just days after international outrage over the execution of convicted Australian heroin trafficker Nguyen Tuong Van amid calls for the city-state to stop its mandatory death penalty for those found guilty of trafficking.
The others arrested in Tuesday's operation included a Malaysian, a Japanese and a Singaporean.
No names were released in the statement.
Authorities seized a total of 21.38 grams of cocaine, 9.07 grams of methamphetamines, 1.81 grams of Ketamine, marijuana and Ecstasy tablets from the suspects.
