And yet this story has no serious traction in the U.S. sports media, far more concerned with baseball players than bike riders.
Is it Lance's domestic status as myth that's keeping this low-profile?
Or is it that no one here cares about cycling? Or that the allegations are six years old?
Or is it simply that we have so little regard for the French?
Last question: What if L'Equipe had "proven scientific fact" (Tour honcho's words) that Barry Bonds had used illegal performance enhancers?
