Thailand The government of Thailand headed by Taksin Shinwatra launched its official anti-drug campaign. Within a mere 3 months the brutal war on drug had seen nearly 3000 lives massacred, with many criminal suspects murdered in extra-judicial killings. Despite heavy criticisms from human right groups, the campaign continues and the prime minister vowed to "eradicate all drugs in Thailand" by the King's birthday on December.
