All drug use leads to addiction?!
"Not all drug users are automatically addicts;
drivers automatically car racers;
shoppers automatically shopaholics?"
Jeffrey Schaler
in "Addiction is a Choice" 1999
Since car racers do sometimes die of car racings, then should we ban cars?
Since shopaholics do sometimes go bankrupt, so should we ban all goods?
But there are so many other behaviors to consider,
all are quite capable of causing
(those not into accepting personal responsibility might prefer this word)
addiction,
which can lead to equal amounts of health and social problems.
Why is this world obsessed only with one addiction, the drug addiction?
